The Build Process

Stage Craft uses proven techniques and equipment to provide quality products for our customers.
We use Genuine Baltic Birch in our British flavored cabinets and solid #2 pine for our West Cost Pine series. The original recipes!
Cabinets are joined with ¼” box joints – the same construction technique that has enabled the classic amps and cabs of the 50’s and 60’s to endure to this day.
After rounding corners and final sanding, components are matched up and the cabinets make a journey to our finishing department.
Prior to tolex, each cabinet receives a coat of flat black paint. Tolex is applied using hide glue, in a time honored fashion. No rubber glue here! Tolex is expertly applied and top quality hardware is used throughout.
Following a thorough inspection, the Stage Craft label is applied. It identifies the cabinet model and the craftsmen who proudly built it. As the saying goes, “Quality goes in before the name goes on!”
