Our Open Back options are approx 1/3rd open and will give an airy open response without signficant loss of bass, common to very large openings.

Closeded backs help you achieve that "chug," characteristic of classic British cabinets.  

Oval backs sound similar to open backs- airy and lively.  Many customers have reported that our Oval backs are somewhat quieter than the open back option.  We size our ovals to be somewhat smaller than what is commonly available and feel it helps the cab remain useful, absent a good back wall.  Please note: Oval option is $25.

The Flex-Back is a TWO peice back that allows for both Closed and Open back tones.  The bottom two thirds is fixed and contains the input jack(s).  The top panel (approx 1/3rd) is removable via eight or more screws.  The Flex-Back is our most popular back, but we've found that customers end up leaving it either open or closed...hey, at least you have the option!  Please note: Flex-Back option is $25.
